These are my favorite sandals EVER. Soft and pliable leather, cushioned insole, great range of fits thanks to the buckles.
I teetered between a 7 and an 8 because my feet are wide but not long, and some reviews said to size down (because of the length) and others said to size up (because of the width). I went with the 8 because width is more important than length to me.
I’m glad I did – the shoes are a bit too long for me BUT once all of the buckles are cinched in they don’t look too long. And the width would have been too narrow if I’d gone smaller.
The platform height is fun, taller without the hazards of actual heels. They are heavier than non-platform sandals of course, but not awkwardly so.
Normally I would be “looking forward to” many weeks of blisters in the struggle to break in Docs – these have leather so soft and supple that I don’t believe that will be the case! I’ll wear them around the house for a few days before trying to wear them anywhere else, but I think that’s all it’ll take!
Overall – YES. GET THESE.

First, let me say I really love these shoes. I love them so much I’m keeping them despite what I’m going say next. These shoes do run true to size (I wear a size 10 and that’s perfect) but even with the straps on the top and around my heel tightened to the last hole, these shoes were so loose that if I picked my foot up it came out of the shoe easily. Again, its not because of the shoe length and it isn’t a shoe width issue either because the shoe isn’t wide. If the straps had a few more holes for adjustment the shoe would be perfect, so I made a hole on the top strap so I can tighten it more. Overall, these shoes are so comfortable and I love the platform, just be mindful about ordering if you don’t want to do any diy shoe alterations!

I loved the shoes. everyone said they ran small??? DMs always run large! These were 1-2 sizes too large, so I don’t now which to reorder. They were cute but rather stiff. Will try again.

Pictured is the first wear/outing for these. They were very comfortable, no blisters or anything. They didn’t feel heavy to me but I collect the brand so I’m used to docs platforms. I’m usually a 6/6.5 in other shoes the size 6 was a perfect fit for me. The sole feels a lot sturdier and stiffer than the nartillas sole. However if you tend to drag your feet, you’ll still wear these out quickly. Hope this helps.

I received the wrong size! I ordered a US 8 (UK 6) but instead they sent me a US 6 (UK 4) inside of a US 8 box ????? Unfortunately i am now unprepared for my all white party. I am disappointed that i have to wait another 3 days to get them.

I’ve been buying Doc Martens since I had my London abroad stint back in 1987 (bought the original loafer – still have them!). I wanted a platform sandal to wear with my jumpers and casual sundresses. I either get Steve Maddens or Doc Martens. I know what I like and what works! I saw these & they looked like what I had had in mind. And a plus was they were on sale.
I already have the Blaire Slide in black so I went for these in white. I just got them & tried them on. They look like they’d be stiff, but surprisingly they weren’t. I thought they’d be really large, and they weren’t at all. I’m a size 8 and they “just fit” (well, I’m 7 3/4 left and 8 1/4 right, so there you go).
I walked around my bedroom in them and they’re cushier than expected. I’m used to (and love) heavy platforms, so that part doesn’t bother me. But I can totally see it would for some. But we buy Doc Martens for that reason, right?
We’re having an 80 degree warm spell here in Chicago so I’m going to wear them out to dinner tonight. Can’t wait!

Dr Martens always run big so I recommend sizing down. I’m usually a 10.5-11 and the 10 fits perfectly.
They are light and don’t take long to break in. The adjustable strap for the ankle and instep are nice for finding the best fit.

I ripped open the box so fast and put them on immediately! They fit great and are true to size. Gotta get used to the platform, but I would definitely get these again! I’m absolutely thrilled with my purchase!

I am a true Womens 7 in all footwear except Docs. In Docs I am a true Womens 6 (USA). These platforms are perfect ! Perfectly sized. Perfectly comfortable. The color is more like a greige. Love them

Outside of Dr. Marten’s I am typically women’s 10.5 to 11 shoe size. But in this sandal and others of Dr. Martens I am UK 8/US 10. I have this same shoe in black and this color. This color is much softer leather and you can wear barefoot while the all black version is extremely stiff leather which requires sandals unless you want blisters.

Worried these might feel heavy after some of the reviews from others. I don’t find them to feel heavy at all. Love the fit and style. Many compliments on these. I am on the shorter size and so I also love the added height. Stable to walk in. Can wear dressed up or down. Bought in black but would consider other colors.
