Gorgeous boot! Leather is stiff, so require a bit of breaking in (especially at the opening, as they rub the leg if you don’t have tall socks on).
I’m a half size, so the 8 is a little big, but these feel a LOT narrower than other Docs – don’t think I’d be able to get my foot into a 7. If you’ve got a wider foot and are a half size too, go up and grab some insoles to deal with slippage.
The seam on the inside front is a little more noticable in person than on the photos. I like it, but it’s different from their other boots so I’ve included a photo!

This is the most under-rated Dr. Martens boots. They’re so cute and make me feel so tall and cool. They elevate any outfit and are pretty comfy. Just use some socks that go above your ankle so your skin doesn’t rub on the outer part of the shoe!

These are really well made and versatile. They are a great height and width for flare jeans. Easy on and off. The top edge on the ankle is stiff and will cut your shin if you don’t wear tall enough socks; hopefully it will soften with time. As for the fit, I ordered a 9 and my feet are a size 10. My heel is narrow and my forefoot is on the wider side, but my feet are thin. They aren’t super comfy but definitely wearable out of the box. Since I still have room for an extra insole, I ordered one from Dr. Marten, along with their white shoe polish because I plan to wear these all winter. For the record, I hate when people write reviews and don’t describe their feet and shoe size…

Ok i LOVE these boots, they’re the exact look I wanted, a little edgy but conventional enough to wear anywhere, dress up or down. I was also surprised by how comfortable the soles and the heel are v v comfy. BUT you absolutely MUST wear them with tall socks, I wore them to a concert with short socks and got WRECKED lol.

I absolutely love these boots but I think they were used. When I opened the box the boots had already had creasing and scuffs. But overall they’re a beautiful boot and surprisingly comfortable for how tall the heel is.

These run a little big in length, quite roomy for thicker socks. They are clunky and make me a good 3-4 inches taller. They get more comfortable with each wear. Definitely not a shoe to walk for several hours in, but a great staple that should last me several years. I love them.

Love these. Ordered my typical size 7 for DM and they fit great. Super cute. Only thing I didn’t like is that the right boot leather is wearing fast than left… so that’s a little strange. The leather on top around your leg DOES rub. A LOT. I’d suggest wearing taller socks or a bandaid. It really does rub your leg raw but if your use to wearing real leather boots you’ll be fine. Did feel slightly narrow.

Super cute, but these are heavy! Just be prepared you are buying a heavy shoe. I sized up by 1/2 a size which them way toooooo big. Need to return for actual size.

First time I was very dissatisfied in Zappos… bought a 9 … too big then ordered an 8 to see if the fit was better… the fit was way better BUT the shoe was worn and already broke in for me … the sole was even worn … and the the 130+ $$ … had a huge scuff in the leather… REALLY ??? Come on !! And now Zappos doesn’t even carry the style … very disappointed … been a customer a very long time… but no more

These are very cute but they were extremely painful. The leather is really “tough” around the edges (there is another review where someones skin was raw from wearing this lol, so please wear socks/pants) – I also felt like they weren’t that comfortable. I felt like my arch would start to hurt after walking around for a bit. But they are super cute.. I have a lot of docs but these are the only ones I returned. Also if you have wide feet just be aware since the leather is stiff its kinda hard to get your foot in and out!

I am SO BUMMED! These boots are adorable! I want to keep them so bad, but the fit is just strange. The right shoe was very narrow, but the left was super roomy. My feet were floating in them though and the fit just didn’t work. But like I said..I LOVED THEM

I went off other reviews and sized down from my normal size with docs. They were way too small! So I returned and got my normal size 7 and they fit perfect. They are comfy and super stylish. I love them! True to size!
