I wear a lot of doc shoes but this is my first doc backpack. I’ve seen a lot of complaints for doc’s backpack design; specifically the shoulder straps are always triple stitched downwards aka opposite the direction of the force applied which easily leads to the straps ripping at the site of stitch. On this backpack the straps are no longer stitched and are only attached to the backpack body via the metal pin. You can see this in the product pics too. It makes sense that this is an improvement in design and I’m excited to see how it performs.

Great looking backpack/purse. I love the easy to open clasp and the option to adjust it as well. The only CON is that the “martens” logo is made out of plastic 🙁
