These fit the same as all doc boots. I’m always a UK 4/US 6, and that’s what worked for these. They are absolutely adorable and very eye-catching. I love them.

Amazing. Yeah, they’re tough to break in. But the leather and quality on the boots is far above the normal jadons. The zippers and laces feel premium, and the extra height adds some more character to an already perfect pair of boots. Order them!!

We sized down a half-size (plus 2) and the fit was right on. We returned because they were really uncomfortable, as other reviewers have mentioned, the break-in period is intense and we just couldn’t deal with it.

The size was spot on. A lot of reviews say to order down a size (11) but there is no way I could have fit in a 10. Maybe a 10.5 but they don’t come in 1/2 sizes…
They are a bit stiff and will take some breaking in but I love the look of these. I searched for this particular style, and color in my size for weeks. I have a few other Dr. Martens (lace up & slip on) and these boots are going to be my FAVORITE, I can tell!!

Favorite pair of Docs I’ve ever purchased!!
These boots say ‘women’s’ on Zappos but after seeing them in the Doc Marten’s store I learned the Jadon Max is actually unisex – which is AMAZING.
This is my 4th pair of Docs and in my experience buying unisex boots (vs women’s) is the way to go to avoid a ton of pain breaking them in. This does cause them to feel a tiny bit big (for me) but thick socks fixes the issue.
The heel/ankle crease caused a little rubbing but that was to be expected. It has lessened after wearing the boots out little by little everyday (we all know this part of Doc ownership sucks). They are also heavier than average due to the max sole.
Overall very happy with these!! Can’t wait to fully break them in have a great staple in my fall/winter wardrobe

I waited forever to finally receive these. First package was lost/ damaged (Amazon delivery). The second pair shipped by UPS arrived in perfect condition in every way EXCEPT for the two cuts by the eyelet. I would have given 5 stars if not for this. Production quality control issue. Smh… what a waste of some otherwise perfect and pristine shoes. Now I have to order again for a 3rd time…. Hoping this 3rd time around they’re still packaged as nicely as these were.

I have been eyeing these bad boys for so long and finally decided to treat myself and I’m so glad I did!! These are my 9th pair of Dr. Martens and honestly I am impressed with how well they fit. Maybe I just tightened the laces more than my regular height Jadons, but I feel like they are just all around more comfortable! I was nervous about how heavy they would be with the extra platform but they aren’t very noticeably different from my regular Jadons. It may take some getting used to walking up and down steps, but I am very satisfied with these even though I do wish they used the smooth leather instead of the buttero (quality and shine wise). The buttero has more of a shiny ~almost~ patent leather look. It looks like a cross between the patent and smooth leather, so if you like that shiny look then you will like the buttero. Sizing note: no different from other Dr. Martens. Run a half-size big. I am a 7 1/2 in most shoes and all my 7s/38s in Dr. Martens are perfect for me.

Take it from someone who has researched this boots for months before purchasing. They run big and not true to size.
I am a true size 7.5/8 and decided to go with the 8 and they were slipping off my heels with each step.

I love everything about them but would mention to wear longer socks while breaking them in and possibly always to avoid the top of the boots from rubbing directly on your skin

I love these boots. The fit is nice. I am a 6-6.5 so I got a 37 or size 6. I think I would’ve been able to fit the size 5 but it would’ve been exact and I know a lot of ppl break these in but I don’t think I wear them enough to break a size 5 in to wear it stretches. Other than that, everything’s great. Love that it comes with two pairs of strings. And they aren’t as heavy as everyone describes.

I’m a U.S. size 7 1/2 but decided to get a size 8 in these because I wanted to pair them with socks for style and for protection. These boot’s definitely come true to size so there was a bit wiggle room for my feet even with socks on, depending on your preference you don’t need to size up I think I could get away with wearing socks even with a 7 1/2 instead of a size 8 but I love these boots nonetheless 🙂 They are soo stylish, the platforms also make me even taller. These boots are pretty heavy and when the laces are tied very tight and secure I do feel over time the leather does dig into my calves, but these shoes are very known to be difficult to break in and causes blisters. A small price we pay to look cute :’)

I was skeptical about buying the Jadon Max because I already have the Jadon, and I thought the Max would be heavier. But at the price point–they were on serious sale–I had to go for it and I’m so glad I did. These boots are perfect! To me, they actually feel lighter than the Jadon and are not that much higher. I can’t wait to wear them with all the outfits I’ve been pairing them with in my head.

I am OBSESSED with these boots. The leather is softer and more comfortable than my 1460s. They’re heavy but not ridiculously so. I thought I’d hate the shine but they’re a step below patent leather in terms of shininess so they actually look really cool and not over-the-top. Black laces are included so you can switch up the look. They run true to Doc size. You won’t regret buying these!

Like most Dr, Marten, you have to break these in. They are a bit heavy but nothing I wouldn’t expect from a platform boot with a rubber sole. They are pretty true to size, I’m happy I didn’t size down.
