These are awesome looking. The iridescent pink is incredibly unique; it looks a tad like fish scales (in the best possible way). The platform is between 2.5 and 3 inches, which is a very manageable height! My only complaint is that they are extremely wide. I have average to slightly narrow feet, and my heel slips out of these unless they are completely cinched. I’ll just have to wear them with thicker socks. I am typically a size 6.5, but ordered the UK 4/ US 6. They are very roomy for a 6. The quality is what you expect from Dr. Martins; very well made. Mine did come with two minor scuffs on the toes of both shoes, which isn’t a big deal. However, the iridescent color will absolutely come off with scuffs and wear, so just keep that in mind. Overall, these shoes are great! Now I just need to find something to match…

The only reason I bought these was I read they were wider than normal, and my feet are usually too wide to wear Docs. Normally I have to go a half size up to get a decent fit, but these fit perfectly for my size.

They are such pretty pink shoes! I call them ‘warrior mermaid tail’ walkers. I have a pretty bad blister on my left back foot and wore panty hose with them yesterday on a ‘test’ walk around German cobblestone streets. Will have to try thicker socks and see how that goes or insert some arch support gel cushions I got on Amazon for more arch support. I SO want to fall in love with these shoes, my very first pair of Dr. Martens!

These are gorgeous shoes. Unfortunately, they are too big and heavy for me, and I will have to return. Even with socks and an insole, my feet are slipping out. The sole is also quite heavy and I think would take getting used to even if they fit correctly. I got them in my regular size and a size smaller is not available, but might be too small in any event. Maybe Dr. Martin’s just don’t work for my feet, or maybe it is just this particular style.

Got a UK5/US7 and they fit great….my usual size is UK6/US8 so these definitely run big. The color and iridescent sheen is beautiful!

Fit was good, SHIPPING WAS VERY FAST, took me by surprise. The fitting was good, I recommend wearing these shoes with pants that spill a little over onto the shoes (if that makes sense), or tight fitting shorts/skirt.

I would say the size is only about a half size bigger. I usually wear a 6 and got a size 6. It fits pretty well but I wear these with thicker socks so they fit comfortably

Bought these for my daughter. She really likes the look of these shoes, however, the shoes fit loose and rubbed a blister on the back of her heel. She has already worn them, so they aren’t eligible for return. Kind of a love them/hate them relationship with these shoes. We’ve tried insoles and thick socks but it didn’t help.

OK! I have tried a few Doc oxfords and usually send them back because the size never feels quite right. I do love my Doc fur-lined chelsea boots which are my winter staple. That said, I am a true size 7-1/2 in most shoes, probably average width – in EU sizing I am always a 38 and in Docs women’s 7 (UK 5) which is generally hit or miss. To be honest, ordering shoes online is challenging – as we all know – regardless of whether a particular brand offers 1/2 sizes or not. Fortunately for all of us, Zappos is literally a stand-alone company who offers incredible service, fast delivery and, most importantly, really easy returns (no – I am not paid to endorse them, but my personal view is they are second to none). The Holly Quad Retro is an awesome oxford. I think another reviewer said something about the ribbon laces and they are spot on. It’s VERY difficult to tighten the laces which means if your foot is already a little loose in the shoe (but going down a size doesn’t make sense) – you will get no help with the ribbon laces. But the GOOD news is, they put regular laces in with the shoes as well so you can swap them out. For me, I had to do that. I couldn’t get the ribbon laces tight enough – once the shoelace situation was resolved, I would say they are still a tad bit big, but not so big that I could size down. Reviews are helpful and weird. Feet are like fingerprints – no one’s is exactly the same so you hit purchase and hope for the best! For these shoes and me personally, I really love them so I’m going to keep them but I will have to invest in some thicker sock liners maybe. Give them a try – they are pretty cool shoes!

These are such gorgeous shoes, but how I wish Dr. Martens came in half-sizes! I have other DM’s in a size 6, which I’ve been able to wear with thick socks. But these seem even larger than my old ones. Oh well, somebody else will get to wear these, lucky girl.

I am looking for some stylish, platform shoes to wear with pants, and these seemed to fit the bill. First of all, they are HEAVY AF! Those chunky lug platforms are no joke! These shoes are stylish & cute, but not functional. As soon as I tried to lift my feet to walk, my heels slipped out with every step. And since there is zero padding inside, blisters would be inevitable. I am usually a true size 7.5 B. I ordered a size 7 on the advice of reviews. Returning.

I have two other pairs of Dr. Martens in a Women’s size 6 and they fit perfectly. I ordered these in a size 6 and they are gigantic. They literally fell off of my feet. I had to return them.

They’re a half size big. I’m a true 9 and ordered an 8 and a 9 and fell halfway between them. No matter—I hadn’t realized the Buttero leather is PATENT leather!!! It’ll never mold to your feet and become your best friends like Napa leather shoes do. They’re super cute, though. I returned.
