I’m a true size 7 and this size 7 fit right to my heel but the suede seems like it will provide some give after wear. Loved the adjustable dual strap function to be worn as a slip on mule or around the ankle. I chose a sturdier pair of Dr. Martens for work but this would make a great affordable alternative with the non-slip grip sole + comfort. This seemed like a better daily or practical shoe. Listed some photos next to a traditional Dr. Marten’s width (also size 7) for reference as the look is all around smaller but still comfy. Otherwise cute and also perfect for travel! I wish there were more colors to choose from.

Purchased these last year in the UK at the Camden DM store. I’m usually a UK5/US7 and found these fit true to size and were extremely comfortable – moreso than any other pair of docs I’ve tried! Unfortunately, literally the second time I wore them, the heel strap broke off. I’d have returned them if that was an option, but I was back in the states and this style wasn’t offered.
Upon inspecting them, it’s just not really attached in a secure way where it’s gonna last. The pair I got are suede and the material is thin and soft, but so is the strap. It’s attached by a single rivet on each side and it just immediately popped out which makes sense cause it’s a high stress point if you’re wearing the heel strap and you want the shoe to fit securely. The top fits very loose so without the strap (whether across the heel or across the top) they’re very hard to wear as they don’t stay on your feet.
Anyways, comfort fit and style are all spot on, but quality and longevity….. Not so sure they’re worth the price.

The shoes were exactly as expected. True to fit and all. I love the way they look and feel. They’re great with socks, but without socks (if it’s warm) it’s a bit stuffy in there. Not a shoe problem – a foot or weather problem. I love them.

I love the style of these shoes! They are a cool alternative to the Birkenstock Boston. They are a bit heavier than the Boston, but not uncomfortably so. Out of the box they feel comfortable but a bit flat, however I expect they will mold to my foot like all Docs do. Also, the heel strap can be pivoted back to “sport mode”, however it’s just a piece of suede and it’s pretty flimsy considering the chunky sole. I think it’s more decorative than functional.
For fit – I found they run smaller than my other Docs, which for me run big. I have Docs Chelsea boots in UK 6, and I’m usually a US 9. I ordered the Carlson in UK 6 and UK 7, and I definitely needed the 7. My heels hung a bit off of the back of the UK 6.

I wear a doc martens women’s 9. When ai received the pair they were about an inch before my heel. I had to size up to a womens 11. So something to keep in mind. Other than that the shoe is amazing.

Ordered a size 7 and I’m a true 6.5 in women’s and these fit like a dream! Comfortable and light weight compared to other docs. I have wide feet and these aren’t too narrow and would most likely stretch overtime because of the material. Highly recommend!

My wife loved her Docs, these are true to size. But, do not go based off other Doc sizes as those differ. She has some other ones as a size 7 but in these size 8. Overall great show.
