These run big I typically wear an 8 or 8.5 and had to get a 7 in these but they fit perfectly, so comfy, did not have to break them in, they fit like a glove straight out of the box. Recommend 10/10

I was going to order these but I’m so glad I went to the store and tried them on instead.
I wear a (women’s US) 8 in almost every shoe, it’s what my Dr. Martin’s boots are as well, these do not fit like an 8 at all.
The 8 was WAY too long. I had about an inch and a half of the footbed left when I put them on. Also, the straps sat about a half inch away from my foot. They’re not adjustable so even if the length hadn’t been too big they wouldn’t have worked.
I tried the 7 also but the straps on these were way too tight, I couldn’t get my foot all the way in. Putting my foot next to the shoe they would still have been a little long for my taste by about a half inch.
Such a shame because they have such a great look. Love the chunky sole and the design, but I think you have to have a certain shaped foot for these to work.

I couldn’t believe how great they looked when I took them out of the box, unfortunately I have I wide foot & I am always a 7w or 8w depending on width. Can’t even get my foot in them. Have to send them back, sadly! They look even better in person.

They are an awesome sole, I have others with it, but the straps across the top of the foot are so loose, the shoe was flopping around on me. I am sending back. Cute though.

Finally they fit on the 3rd size I tried. I wear a size 9 US, and the size 5 UK fits fine.

I tried 3 diffent styles before I found these-perfect! had to get a full size smaller than I usually wear, no problem with them being too wide, yes they are a little loose in the straps, but very comfortable and great looking!

Everyone says to size down in Dr. Martens. So, I went to a brick and mortar store in my town to try a pair on. I am normally a size 11 in everything. I told the store assistant this and she said the largest size they had in stock was a 9 womens but she honestly thought they’d work for me since they stretch so much. I thought they were a but uncomfortable but they didn’t look too small or anything (in the footbed – the straps were digging into the top of my foot). She said they would stretch an entire size so I wound up buying them. I put them on at home to stretch a little bit but after wearing the size 9 for an hour my foot started to turn purple. Needless to say, I returned the 9s. Then I hopped on zappos to buy the 10. The 10 was so much more comfortable just from the first try on. I’ve worn them everyday for the past four days and I have noticed the straps have loosened some but not an outrageous amount. I do have to echo the other comment here about the pinky toe feeling like it is going to fall out. I had this issue with the 9 and 10 so it may just be bad placement on the strap. All in all, glad I went with the 10 when I am a true size 11. The sandals aren’t super comfortable for me since I have flat feet but they are SO CUTE. I have received so many compliments.

I absolutely love these! When I first pulled them out of the box I was a little worried. They looked really big. I am 5’9 and wear a size 10 in shoes. I did order a size 9 because of he other reviews saying they a size to big. The size 9 fit perfect. I also have long toes haha so I was not to worried out my pinky toe falling out. But I could see that being a problem for someone with little toes. I attached a photo. (Please excuse my daughter’s messy room.) Smh.

Bought these in white and I love them! I sized down a full size and still have a little room, which is fine and hasn’t caused any blisters so far. Really comfy and perfect if you’re looking for a versatile and super durable summer shoe.

I am usually a size 9 or 9.5, I got these in an 8 after looking over the reviews. They are still too big. Vans/converses fit me well, I have long and slender feet so I will be returning these and getting another size down. Other than the fit, I love love love these shoes! So cuteeeee

I’ve owned lots of Dr. Martens over the years and I’ve ALWAYS worn a size UK 6/US 8. Reviews seemed pretty mixed on fit, so I tried the US 8s and 7s. The 7s are the ones that fit. The 3rd strap (across the arch) is just a little roomy on my left foot, but I think that’s more a problem with my feet than the shoes. I don’t have an issue with my pinky toes popping out. Excited that I have a sweet pair of summer Dr. Martens now!

A few large than true, but very quality and beautiful. Recomend!

As with Dr. Martens, I was worried that these sandals would be heavy because of the thicker sole. But to my surprise, they’re not! Very soft soles, springy steps. As for size, my normal US size is 8.5-9. But with Dr. Martens- I usually wear a 7 in their boots, which translates to a size 9. But, with all the other reviews, I went down to size 6, which is an 8 in their size. Glad I did. I think if I went with a 7, they would’ve been too big and too wide. The size 6 is just right.

I’m a US women’s 8 so per the reviews, I ordered a 7 and they were HUGE! I returned them for a US 6 and the fit is now perfect! They’re super comfortable but I’m sure the ankle strap will cause some rubbing issues.

Everything in a shoe. Except they are way too big. Make sure to get a whole size smaller than your usual size. 🙂 love u zappos.

Runs big, I am typically a true size 7 and I ordered a 5. I purchased a 6 as I know doc’s usually run small but that was too big. So if you are also a true size 7 go for the 5. The 5 fits perfectly! SO comfortable and they are light weight without feeling cheap. Amazing and so cute.

I wear a women’s 8 in sneakers, 7 in Doc boots and 6 in Doc sandals. I initially bought size 7 and they were huge so I returned them for a 6 and they fit great! I have to wear them often but for short periods of time before they start causing blisters. They’re very cushiony and bouncy! Will be buying more in other colors!

I love these shoes! I am a true 10, I wear a 10 in all other shoes but in Docs I wear a 9. I suggest sizing down if you have a larger foot, as docs tend to run very big in the bigger sizes. My foot fits exactly in the bed. I have narrow feet so if the straps are not tight, my foot can slip. I didn’t find it to be a problem when I wore them. If you have a very wide foot I would get your normal size. I wore them to a birthday party at the lake where I was walking around/hiking to the lake/dancing for 7 hours. I only started to feel them after about 6. The footbed is very comfortable and the leather has give to it and is soft. I got compliments from everyone and I’m excited to keep wearing them.

Do not listen to reviews about getting a smaller size. I ordered a smaller size based on reviews and they were too small. I had to send them back and reorder. She’s an 8 and the 8 for perfect.

Finally, so excited to have these shoes! I typically wear 8.5/9 in shoes. I have doc boots size 7 that are extremely too tight on me but they do fit the length of my foot. I saw the same suggestions to size down and I was hesitant to order these sandals in a 7 as well but they actually have a lot of room to give. I would say these fit perfect and not snug on my feet. 10/10 recommend

I wanted to love these cute shoes. My niece and daughter have these, but in the plain leather black, and they love them and have no issues with them. I ordered the patent, shiny black ones, and I think they are a hard plastic material, as opposed to the regular black color ones. I Alamo knew when I opened them, they felt hard, the ankle straps did. So I put them on, excited nonetheless, and bucked them loosely, just in case. I made just one quick trip to Target, and as soon as I started walking in Target, they rubbed on my left in de ankle. I’ve never had cheap shoes rub on me this quickly. Iam thinking that it may just be the shiny, patent ones that are hard and rub, so iam going to try and return these abs get them regular black color ones. Everything else about them fits fine and doesn’t rub, but the ankle rubbing is painful and unbearable. They are not tight fitting, with plenty of room under straps, so it shouldn’t be rubbing like this. Also, I already researched and knew ahead, but you have to order one whole size down. Iam normally a 9, like in sandals like Chacos , and Iam a 9.5 in heels or wedges. Iam a 10 in some tennis shoes, so I have never had to buy an 8 in anything before. But trust me on this, size up one size. I recommend you DON’T buy the non patent, shiny kind.

I originally ordered a size 10 and had to return for a 9. I wear a 10 normally. Definitely go for a size smaller. They’re cute and comfortable!

These are comfortable and not stiff. They fit well, and, if you like Docs, these are SO cute.

I wear a 9.5 in tennis shoes (Hoka, Nike) based on the reviews I sized down to a 9 & they were perfect. I wore them around the house to break in a little, but it wasn’t necessary. They are so comfortable out of the box, and feel very supportive. Great price on Zappos, as always. The ankle strap is a little weird/loose on me but I can live with it, great looking comfortable quality sandal!

The shoe is exactly as pictured. Really nice. The only thing I regret, is listening to that 1 person who said not to size down. I wear a 7-7.5 in regular shoes, and an 8 in most sneakers. I ordered a size 7, and was too big. Should’ve went a size down, as other reviews have stated. Otherwise, awesome shoe!
