Loved this shoe. The leather was softer than the black, but the shoe itself was much larger than the same size in black. I even tried them with insoles and I walked right out of the shoe. (I wear a 6 and ordered a 6). The width was very wide as well.

If you are a dyed in the wool half size person like me(8.5 always) you are absolutely out of luck with Dr. Martens. Don’t bother. It’s going to be gigantic or too tight. Go elsewhere.

I really wanted to keep these shoes! But, I concur with other reviews: the sizing just doesn’t work for me. A six was too small, but a seven had my heel slipping out the back. Such a bummer.

Too big. Bummer. I’m normally an 8 (rarely an 8.5) – got 8s in these because that’s what I wear in my other docs but the 8s felt like a 9.
