   Absolutely LOVE the style, and craftsmanship of this shoe. However, after ordering according to the chart and getting a shoe WAY too big,
   I ordered a size down and it was STILL too big. I believe this is a MENS shoe- it is WIDE everywhere, and the size chart that shows womens
   equivalent is wayyyyy off. I am in search of the perfect comfortable classic loafer and thought this might be it, but NOT. I wish Dr. Martens would
   make a Made-for-women only classic loafer. My search continues. Thankfully Zappos is great about returns.

   Love the shoes but these aren’t really unisex. I am a women’s 9 in other Dr. Martens but these were way big. Sadly, they are going back

   I own about 5 pairs of Dr. Martens, all women’s size 8. I ordered a size 8, and it was marked as a women’s size 8 on the shoe, but it was easily a whole size too large. Otherwise, the shoes were beautiful and the leather didn’t seem too stiff. I returned them and ordered a size 7, hopefully those will fit.

   I wanted to love these but they are huge! I bought these in my normal unisex size and they are definitely a man’s shoe. Wish they had a woman’s version as they are super cute!

   After stretching the shoe for weeks with shoe trees after microwaving, most glaring issues are still present. The stitching for tassel digs into top of foot, heel tab is tough v-shaped & extremely uncomfortable under any level of wear, causes sores on the heel. EXTENSIVE break in period necessary.

    I’m normally a 7.5 or an 8, so I sized down to a 7 after reading the reviews. Still too big. I’m bummed because I really like the shoe itself.

    These are really cute but are very stiff, and wide. I’m usually a 9 but I ordered an 8 and that length was fine. They are going back

    I had to return these shoes because a size 8 was way too big. Usually I’m a true 8 with Doc Marten boots, but not in this case. I wish they came in a smaller size, but they’re out of stock. Other than the size, the shoes looked very cute.

    Shoe buckles at arch, Terribly uncomfortable hassle stitching cuts into the top of my foot while the heel issn incessant cutting sensation tint on the tendon.

    I wear 81/2 (or 39 European) and these were gigantic. The sizing seems off with them, or perhaps the sizing options that zappos allows us to pick. They should allow for european selection on this shoe but they don’t. I think I was sent a 40 or 41.

    These are well made and soft leather shoes! I wear a size 6 in heels and 6.5-7 in sneakers. The 6 in this shoe is too large– I now see that they are saying a 37 is the same as a 6, so I am returning for the 36, my usual European size.

    I wear a US women’s 6 or 6.5. The US 6 was far too large. The US 5 was tight–it may have stretched over time, but the sides came up to high and rubbed the bottom of my ankle bone in a painful way. Maybe because I am 5’3? They also just looked clompy on my short frame rather than giving the cool androgynous look I was hoping for.

    These shoes require some time to break in but are extremely comfortable once worn in.
