Love everything about this shoe but sadly, how they look on my feet. They are a rather large shoe and I am a rather petite person. They are a great looking shoe and I do recommend them.

I like these. I wear a lot of Docs and usually get a women’s 11 – these I’m reordering in a 10. Most Docs run a half size large but the almond toe on these makes them even longer. Super comfortable leather, though!

I originally got these in an 11 (like my other docs) but they were too long in the toe, no other issues. I ordered a size down and they’re a great fit BUT THEY ARE SO HARD TO GET ON. With socks, slips, barefoot, I skinned my finger getting these on. Once they’re on they’re great, no issue getting them off. Flattering even in my size 10/11. But jeez, seriously could not get that shoe on!! It took me all day!

I can’t really review these for comfort because I couldn’t get my foot into the shoe! I am always right between an 8 and a 9 in Docs, so generally I end up with a 9 and they flop around. Other reviews suggested I try the 8 in this particular shoe because it runs a bit bigger, and that’s what Zappos recommended, too. But the heel is SO narrow and so very stiff that even with a shoehorn I couldn’t get them on. Incidentally, I did check the length and toe width against my feet and I think they probably would have fit well enough if I could get them on… Oh well.

I love Dr. Martens! and I really wanted these shoes, the colour was lovely, but unfortunately, the sizing is always ‘off’ it seems. I ordered the 6, couldn’t get my foot in; then did an exchange for a 7, & that was a bit big.
Also the side of the shoe where your ankle bone is, I could feel it was going to hurt as it was rubbing, even on the try on!
Bottom line, both pairs had to be sent back, so I was disappointed.
Zappos though, is a great place to shop online…I’ve been an on/off again customer for years…
Thank you,
J Moore ~

First of all, I loved these shoes. I have the same Doc Martens in black in a size 7 so I bought the same size in these, and they were at least a full size bigger. I was so disappointed because they were not available in a smaller size. I had to send them back, but I was extremely pleased with the customer service, I received my money back the same day I shipped them back! That was awesome! I would definitely buy them again if they had a smaller size. Thank you for the excellent service!
