These were so narrow I could barely get them on. I also didn’t like how shiny the leather was, would have preferred some thing more matte. These were the ones I intentially came shopping for, but they are getting returned.

Love these boots. Docs typically don’t come with a lot of heel/arch support so I bought some gel inserts which made the boot much more comfortable.

Really nice boots but clearly too large.

As other reviewers have noted, these Chelsea boots are tricky to put on. I cannot see wearing a thick sock but a medium one maybe. Typically they are stiff leather and I’m sure with time with wear they will break in beautifully. Unfortunately I fractured my right ankle so I cannot wear both of them yet so I cannot attest to their true comfort. I do love the look of them and look forward to wearing them (both!)

They fit like all of my Doc’s. I had to walk a distance on my first day wearing them and they rubbed the from of my ankle a bit, but it wasn’t an issue after that.

Definitely have to break them in (as expected with leather boots) but can already feel the give and am excited to get them fitted to me feet

I am fully in love with these.

Comfy. Fits well even though I have a very high arch.

Over the years, Dr. Martens has made a more comfortable insole. This has been fabulous!
Also the color combo of pink is also a nice touch. Too bad the stitching isn’t pink but overall a must for my closet.

the top part of the boot is so stiff i couldn’t even get my foot in. i am so sad, i wanted to love these. i can’t comment at all how the rest of the show fits because i can’t get my foot in

Should have bought these long ago!!! Usually size 7.5 and I have skinny ankles. Purchased a 7, and they are super comfy right out of the box. Can’t wait to stomp around in these.
I had previously ordered the 2976 BEX sole, and they just didn’t work out (too heavy / clunky / floppy / painful).
Glad I didn’t give up because these 2976’s are a WIN!

I wear a US 9.5 or Eu 40. I ordered these in a 9 and they are the perfect fit! They are a little narrow for me, so the seam on the outer edge hurts me a bit. I’m wearing thick socks to stretch them out and I believe they will be perfect after that!

I’ve never had a shoe give me acute pain when I tried it on. It was super tight around the top and sides of my feet. I wear a normal width in many other shoe brands. Come on!!

I really like these. I have pretty narrow feet and they could be more narrow. Comfortable pretty much immediately.

Literally cannot get my foot inside the boot. Never had this problem before. So strange!

My wife was very happy with her boots!

I wanted to love these.. and would, if the top of the right boot didn’t dig into my flesh every time I took a step. For the price, this should not happen! They’re roomy enough that I was able to add my Dr. Scholls sole inserts to help with arch support. They’re super cute so I’m sad to give them only 2 stars..

I wear a size 8.5 women’s and sized down bc other Dr. Martens were too long in a size 9 women’s. Unfortunately my wider foot did not fit in a size 8 whatsoever. I would have tried to break them in, but my foot was literally numb so I had to return. I’m not convinced a size 9 would be any better, since they fit the length of my feet great. So I would say if you have wider feet, you may need to explore other styles.

Surprisingly comfortable right out of the box! Feels true to size, and no problem taking on and off (though stiff in the beginning, softens after wearing a few times). About a week of wearing daily, and they feel broken in. Got a couple blisters after first full day, so might recommend using ankle pads for first couple wears.

These looked great, but I couldn’t get my feet into them without using force. So rather than mangle them, they’re going back. The issue may be my high arches. A size larger may work, but I’m going to try in person before buying another pair of Chelsea boots.

Beware – this are not true to standard Dr. Martens sizing or width. I had to order these in wide width (atypical from my brand experience) and a full size larger. Once in the ‘correct’ sizing, these shoes felt comfortable, but will certainly need to be broken in. These may require an additional insole for arch support as the foot bed is flat and hard, which is standard for the brand.

Lots of trouble finding the right size. There are womens, unisex, patent leather, work wear…all fit differently. Finally ended up a size down in these and I do love them. My advise – go to a store to find the right size!

Like the boot and fit, but just too heavy for my luggage and all the walking to come, in my opinion. If the weren’t for travel, I’d keep them.

These were pretty good, but difficult to get on and very tight once on. Wish the toes didn’t bow up too.
