Sturdy, fit well, and comfortable. Had another pair of these that lasted four years and so I bought this pair since my current ones are finally wearing out. The quality seems to be the same so I expect the same performance. Great for walking around and a casual look but also suitable for work environments (I am a cook and spend long hours on my feet and non-slip soles are extremely necessary). The toe box is also really stiff and has saved my toes from some giant cans of tomatoes, etc. Which is good because steel-toes are great but also make me nervous because you concurrently run the risk of the steel slicing into your toes or trapping your feet into your boots. I have narrow feet and these boots are great but I can see people with wide feet that generally have trouble finding shoes that fit having trouble with these.

These shoes look great. As soon as I put them on my feet, they seemed to be 2 different sizes. My right foot seemed jammed in the boot, way to tight against the toes. The left felt great. So be careful. My have been a fluke, but I returned them and did not get another pair.

Great pair of boots. My usual size is a US Women’s 8.5, so I went with the UK 6/US Women’s 8. Fits great! A tad big, but the UK 5/Women’s 7 was too small. I wore them to work for a few days, and they didn’t need a painful breaking in period. Very comfortable, a bit stylishly clunky in the way I like, and clearly very well made. A great purchase!

Was looking for an all day comfort boot to go from office casual to jeans for after hours. However, this wasn’t it. Almost no cushion insole. Right shoe was tight in around the instep and toes – and left was fine – fluke maybe? Due to immediate need, searched and found locally a Clark’s Faulkner boot. That one is awesome, fits perfectly, no- break-in-wearable, cushioned, and stylish, but zip up versus elastic. Had a strap around shaft, but out of sight mostly.

These are not real 2976s. They do not have removable insoles. The leather was thinner but just as stiff. The lug sole is cool though.

Though the look of these was fine, the boots are SUPER narrow and seemed undersize as well. I purchased the same size as I wear with other boots brands but found that these I couldn’t not even get my foot completely into the boot. the fit was so far off I first suspected that the wrong size had been sent. My foot may be a little bit on the wider side but I don’t typically have any problem with other footware being so tight in the width.

I bought these and love the look of them, but their 11 is too large for my size-11 feet. It feels like they would only fit if I wore them with thick wintery wool socks. I am going to return them. Also, the leather felt thinner than I expected, and I was worried that they wouldn’t last a long time.

Zappos has their sizing off. If you select a women’s size 8, they send you a men’s size 7– which is equivalent to a women’s size 9. FIX THIS ZAPPOS! So bummed because these shoes are beautiful, but it appears they don’t carry them any smaller than a men’s size 7.

super-comfortable. I wore these all day right out of the box, and I was surprised how easy they were to get on and off while still feeling really stable and supportive. I thought these were very true-to-size. Most importantly, they look flippin great.
