These were WAY too tight in the instep. I wear a 10M but I do have higher arches so I ordered an 11 after seeing some online reviews stating they ran small. These are the definition of pain. There is a stitched band where the tongue is sewn in and it is so hard and so painful. There is, so far, zero give in this area of the boot. I had to take out the insoles to try to make them less painful. I wore them out before I realized how bad they were to try to break them in so I can’t return them. Currently I have them with boot and instep stretchers inside attempting to salvage the $160 I paid for them. If you have flat feet these may work but if you have even slightly high arches do not these. They’re super cute but beyond that they’re awful.

This is my first ever Dr. Martens purchase and they are a hit! The beautiful red roses caught my attention and I had to order them. I am a solid 7.5B shoe size so I had a hard time deciding which size to order. I ended up sizing down to the UK5 After inserting my orthotics, they are a bit tight, but I can see where they will be perfect after the break-in. If I had a thicker foot, I would have needed to size up to the UK6. I Hope that helps other shoppers new to Dr. Martens.

I hate the Docs are NOT made in England. the quality isn’t the same as the good ol days. I had to return the first pair because of a very uncomfortable seam defect, but Zappos handled it as always. I do love this shoe. its not leather…kinda a satin-y manmade material with cute embroidery which I think will be much easier to break in. Ive only worn them once but no pain or sore spots. Im a solid 6.5 but sized down to a 6 and its perfect.

Beautiful Docs! Gave these to my daughter for Christmas and she’s thrilled with them. Size UK 5 fit her size 7 perfectly. The floral detail is so gorgeous and really sets these apart. It’s a shame that we’re not the same size cause I’d love to wear them myself.

These are my first Dr. Martens, and I’m very happy with them! But they are a bit roomy, since they don’t sell in half sizes. I went a size up, and have to wear thick socks with them. In US sizes, I’m usually a 9 1/2, so I got a 9 in these. But I couldn’t be happier with the red embroidered roses, arch support is good, ankle support is great. Really fantastic looking boots and comfortable to walk around in all day. Also, I have bunions and need arch support, and these fit nicely all around.

These are beautiful shoes, they really are. Typically, Dr. Martens have a break in period to mold to the feet but these ones just didn’t make it that far for me. I tried wearing them around the house…and while there was no one particular place the shoe felt like it didn’t fit right, my toes began to go numb after a bit..and I just can’t justify keeping uncomfortable shoes. Too bad! I really wanted them to work.

I’m a half size, so I followed the suggestion on the Dr. Martins website and sized down. When I first got them, I thought I made a horrible mistake because I could hardly get my feet in them, and they were making my feet numb. However, after a day or so of breaking them in, they feel like a dream. I’m still working on molding them to my feet, but I fit comfortably in them and they feel nice. There’s not a whole lot of foot support, so I added my own insoles.

I’ve ordered from Zappos before and always been satisfied but this was a totally different experience. I ordered these boots for my 16 year granddaughter. Imagine her disappointment when her order arrived and there was a SINGLE boot in the box! Even more disappointing was that when I contacted Zappos they did not have a pair in her size. I received a prompt refund but had to go elsewhere to actually purchase the pair of boots.

I have been wearing these a lot and they are so comfortable already. No break-in needed. I bought my true size and have wide feet. I get compliments almost every time I wear them. Absolutely obsessed with the rose detail! I feel such a confidence boost wearing these.

I normally wear a size 6.5 and ordered the 7. They fit pretty well but were a tiny bigger than I would have liked. They are a little tough, would probably take a little time to work in, but I ended up returning them because of the size. Otherwise, if you’re looking for a cute Dr. Marten, they were really cute

These are really cute and comfortable. The only reason I returned them was because I have cowboy boots with the same rose embroidery. They’d make a great addition to your shoe collection if you’re looking for a floral!

I am very happy with these bootsI The sizing was normal for me. In a boot I wear a size 8.5 or 9 because of my high arch so I chose the 9. Because of my high arch, I have to undo all the laces to get my foot in. But once they’re on, I’m good to go. The roses add a feminine touch to this combat type boot. I bought these to have a cool pair of boots I could wear in the rain without getting my feet soaked and I think this will do the trick. Glad I purchased.

I tried these on and they seemed okay- unfortunately I had to go outside unexpectedly due to an emergency and now cannot return them. Where the tongue starts it presses painfully into the top of my feet when, and so the shoes feel both too big and too small at the same time. I keep trying to loosen the laces, which gives me a blister on the back of my heel, and it barely helps anyway because the tongue is attached to the sides for a bit, so no matter how loosely I lace it, it does little good. Really wish I had been able to return. They are cute though.
Unsure if I can modify the review later, if I manage to break them in (for this price, I’m trying, but it hurts!) I will do so.

Great boots. I wear a 9 and ordered 9/10. Felt a little big in toe box but length is good. Could not have gone down the size. I just wear a little bit heavier socks. I’m very happy with the boots.

I was NOT a fan at first, I was getting terrible blisters, I was so disappointed. I couldn’t return and they were cute as hell with almost any outfit so kept wearing attempting to break them in and voilà! Really comfortable now, and I get a lot of compliments on. Only thing is they still squeak- when I walk but also when I just move my feet, so need to fix that somehow. Otherwise, I do now love them after that rough start.
