I wear a US7 women’s in Dr. Martens and the fit was as expected with these boots. They grey was a nice neutral gray that will go with blue and black nicely.

They definitely run very large. I ordered a full size smaller than my normal size and I probably could have gone 1.5 sizes smaller. They’re comfy, well-made, and cute.

Wore them for 2 hours a day around the house for about 5 days to break them in. Worked like a charm! Now I wear them comfortably. Runs slightly large but with the right socks they fit perfectly.

These are my second pair of 1460s, and i had to write a review. These are more amazing than my first pair. Both the inner and outer soles are extremely comfortable and bouncy, which makes breaking the boots in not as painful. Other than that, as usual, they at stunning boots!

Second boot manufacturer I’ve run into this problem with. Docs thinks that a big shoe size (16) translates into a massive ankle/lower leg. So much material that I could overlap the two sides of the boot where I should lace it. Impossible to tighten due to this design flaw leaving my foot and leg to travel up and down within the boot. The boot “footprint” was true to size, but still an immediate return.

Shame on Doc Martens for not making half sizes. I wear a 7.5 all day long, went with a 7 in this boot because so many reviews say they run big, but they are a tad tight. Another half size up would be perfect. The box says their 7 is a Euro size 38 – which I always wear, have never in my life ever worn a 39, so I’m going to keep these. These are going to take quite a while to break in but they are very cute so I’m going to keep them and hope they stretch and loosen up. I wore Docs in the 90s and I’m 58 and I don’t care what anyone thinks LOL. The quality isn’t quite what they were back then but they are still really good quality. It would be nice if this exact style came with a zip on the side so you don’t always have to mess with the laces – that would be perfect. I looked at the Sinclair and other front zip styles but those front zip systems look janky to me. I find the laces on these easy to work with anyway, and I likely won’t lace them all the way up. Bottom cushioning is great, would be nice if the rest of the boot felt as cushy from the start. There definitely will be no slipping with these grippy soles.

I think if I were able to purchase a Mens 10.5(U.S.) they would fit perfect. That being said, they are fall/ winter boot , so wearing thicker socks is an option. I owned a pair of 1460s previously and the material and quality are the same, so I am very pleased.

It’s been awhile since I’ve purchased Dr. Martens so I had to find my size again. Out of all the Dr. Martens I tried these were the ones that felt closest to my originals. I have been wearing Dr. Martens since high school and they have never disappointed me in quality. I love that this pair isn’t a shiny leather but more of a matte finish. I am still in the break-in period but they are comfortable and will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come.
